CADDY PROGRAM

 Thank you for applying to the
Plum Hollow Caddy Program.

Due to unforseen circumstances we have officially postponed the caddy training. 

A training schedule will be re-evaluated May 1, 2020.

2020 Caddie Applications Requirements  - DEADLINE MARCH 13, 2020
  • Must be 13 years of age as of March 1, 2020.
  • If hired, the potential caddie must be able to commit to the 7 training sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays in late March and early April.
  • Applicants must be able to carry a golf bag (20lbs – 45lbs) while keeping a pace ahead of golfers for 5 miles.
  • Applicants must have knowledge of the game, be motivated, and be independent.
Application Process
  • Applicants must submit at least a 1 page letter introducing yourself; tell us why you are pursuing a caddying position, and what qualities you have to offer to our caddie program. Please include contact information so you can be reached by telephone.
  • In addition to a 1 page letter, you must submit a letter of recommendation from a school teacher, pastor, counselor, coach, or other school official.

What do you get in return?

  • You are placed daily with leaders in the business community.
  • You are taught and expected to act like a responsible teenager. 
  • You will learn more about the game of golf and will be able to play the course.
  • After two years of caddying, an opportunity to earn a full college scholarship to the University of Michigan or Michigan State University. Plum Hollow CC currently has 9 caddies in school that have been awarded the scholarship. You can be next! 
  • An invitation to the annual Caddie Banquet.
  • Most importantly an opportunity to learn and become a leader while at Plum Hollow Country Club.
